Finally, Bye.

It's not difficult trying to search for this place, right? Anyway, it's not suppose to be difficult, i just wanted a place to store my blog and i didnt want to lose my URL...so that explains why this blog is still online.

Ok, after much thought i've decided to disappear from the blogosphere, maybe for good, but at least for now.

Sigh sigh, i'm giving up all that i spent one year bulding. All my memories and photos... I really did had a great time blogging. I do have a talent for blogging, dont i? Hahah..but A levels are coming and it's extremely crucial for me to do well. So i really need to concentrate on my work, one hour of blogging could mean one hour of revision.

So i'm really giving up on this blog although i mentioned upteem times about it. I'm serious now and yup, that's about it.

Dont ask me if i'm sad about it, i am.And this is not the right time to be blogging, furthermore, it wont get me anywhere. To those who cannot stand all my crap, congrats to you. You dont need to tolerate it anymore! But please dont judge me based on my blog. Please. I cant imagine people whom i dont know hating me, all because he read my blog.

To those who continuously supported turnmachine and enjoyed my posts, like xinying lynette lowell michkoo glen louis jiexuan zara band people class people..so many so many to name... Some i dont even know..but really, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

This is the last entry you'll be reading.

Ok, today's friday, again. And finally i have time to blog!

I think it just gets busier and busier until one day, we become immune. And we become, superhumans!

Monday and Wednesday were burnt out due to guitar concert. No, i'm not in guitar, but i helped out as stage hands for their concert.

I, the one who dont move chairs for my own concert, am actually helping to move chairs for other people's concert. HAhhaha!! Come to think of it, it's really quite funny.

Other than receiving CIP hours, the the fact that i made a few new friends and our efforts being appreciated made the entire thing much more enjoyable and endurable. I kinda like the guitar exco too.

We even took a CCA photo with the Guitarians, how cool.

Anyway, moving on, i have Adriel's Birthday party to blog about, which was last sunday at Orchard.

After much procastination, i'm finally done with all the photos.

It was suppose to be a surprise party planned by none other than, blur queen, Linzzie. (if you remember, she's the one who cannot guess her own face)

We put in so much effort to make it a surprise, such as hiding our heads below menu, calling adriel to check his whereabouts, but in the end, Linzzie, from her hideous actions, let the cat out of the bag. That's Linzzie.

So we arrived half an hour earlier to sign this big silver card Linzzie made,

Image hosting by Photobucket

The design of the card is quite weird, it says ' mirror mirror on the wall' on the cover followed by ' wishing you the most most most happy birthday' inside. Absolutely no link, but well well, presenting to you again, Linzzie. (Linzzie is the one in pink top in the above pic)

Now check out the Birthday Boy,

It looks like he's opening some treasure chest of smthn.. look at the glow!

Second surprise of the day,

presenting the cake.

After meal, we went photoWoring.

Do you know whore is pronounced as hore, with the silent W?
Linzzie didnt and she kept saying she's a photoWore and cracked us up during dinner...

More Photos!

I named this pic, Family cause i think they look extremely like one happy family with the mother looking disorientated.

Wa. Lao. Eh.

This computer kinda sucks, ya know...

After an hour or so trying to familiarise myself with this computer, i still cant get moving.

1.It's really quite slow and everytime i open up a new programme i can afford to walk out for a drink and come back.

2. The photoshop programme jams up everytime i try to start.

3. Imageready works but can only save as .psd format, meaning i cannot upload, so what's the point.

4. I cant install the freakin photoshop programme cause there's this system administrator thing and what uninstall shield. shield wad sai can.

5. MSN keep saying i'm not online and cannot sign in but if i'm not online how i get to blog surf and post this. WHY?

Everything i want to do, i cant do! And i'm typing quite slowly now cause this key board feels weird. The backspace button is smaller than usual and my finger keeps missing it...

I'm tired. I need sleep, i have no time to figure this anymore! Tomorrow's the guitar concert and i is going to be de backstage crew wearing band tee shirt. Cool not.

Ok, no homework for today and tomorrow, bye books, hi bed!

4/13/2006

Way to go!

Yay! I got band 1 for my PW! Hahaha! Nothing actually, just wanna hao lian a little bit.

And 3L really did very well for PW! All of us got band 1 except 2 band 2s and band 2s arent bad anyway, so way to go 3L!

Ms Poh if you happen to chance upon here, i think we ought to thank you for spending so much effort helping us in vetting our written report and giving constructive comments for our OP. And sorry for saying you pink leopard shoes obiang.

Let's all continue to work hard and get 100% 4As!

Push forward!

******************

Talking about school work, things are piling up and up and it's never ending! Just one when manage you finish one tutorial, another one comes in and arh!!!!!!!!

Now i'm starting to feel the pressure and maintaining this place is becoming harder! And i realise i'm updating less frequently and oh no, my entertainment value is dropping!

And these few days the question of closing down my blog keeps hovering in my mind. On the one hand, it'll be good cause i can save some time and maybe it'll be good to not expose so much of my life to strangers.

On the other hand, i find it such a waste to close down this blog which i spent so much time building. And it's really quite nice to have people you dont know coming up saying you have a nice blog or your blog is really funny.( I'm not trying to hao lian, really.) Plus this is where i can keep my friends updated about myself.

Haiii...

Quick update

It's going to be 12am soon and since i'm not doing anything now, i might as well just do a quick update.

Hm, i think this has been a rather weird week for me.

I remember reading Life! in Sunday times, the horoscope section and it says something like "you might feel as though your friends are trying all out to make trouble for you and the best solution is to ignore...etc" I cant really remember but it's along those lines.

Usually, i dont believe in it and i find it extremely untrue most of the times. But i think, this time, it's quite true. It's not as serious as it sounds, but i just feel a certain barrier between my friends these few days. It's a werid feeling. And some friends really suck as friends, a new revelation i made recently and it's really not worth the effort to even patronise them. So i shall heed the advice and, ignore.

You never hear before Ignorance is Bliss is it.

Yes. So, ignore and my only friends now are tutorials and notes. I think they're really good friends cause they teach me useful things and they cant do anything to you anyway.

Oh no, i just realised tomorrow's the release of PW RESULTS! ARH! Thinking of it sets my adrenaline pumping. Ok, i must have more faith in myself, and believe i can achieve my desired grade. I realise i lack faith and it's maybe cause i'm too afraid of disappointing myself. I need to believe in myself more cause the most powerful thing is your mind, if you believe in something, it'll come true. I know God wont disappoint me and if i do badly, there's always a good reason behind it.

Today, during the bus ride home, i realised Joy will make a very good mother, serious. She kept talking about how she want to be a, listen carefully, HOUSEWIFE when she grow older and how she want to keep a SCRAPBOOK for her child next time and she'll take pictures every week to show the GROWTH. Funny right!

"But you dont need to be a housewife what, you can still work"

Her reply was that she wants to take care of her children full time and she cannot trust maids especially nowadays when maid crime is on the rise.

Yes, i mean, true true... but she's only 17 and already having such thoughts and plans about her family.

Therefore, i conclude that Joy will be a very good motherly mother. And her children will be fortunately fortunate.

She's still single and available by the way, send in your application form with a full size and close up picture of yourself along with full personal particulars to turnmachine@gmail.com Successful applicants will be notified by post.

And this friday is good friday! Woohoo! I love long weekends!

4/11/2006

It's a long ride...

It's actually quite relaxing to sit comfortably on the pvc seat of 156, listening to my ipod and dozing off...

...minus the drooling...

Geek!

Grey's Anatomy is starting in 20 minutes and i'm setting myself a challenge to complete this entry in 15 mintutes!

Today's a holiday. No, not really, we still went back for an extra lesson. I learnt polymerisation in 2 hrs and we went for mini class lunch and i had 2 tissue pratas! Junction 8 Food Court sells tissue pratas you know that? The big, triangular hat shape prata. It's called paper prata actually. And it's by far, the cheapest food available in the entire food court, $1.50 for one, quite reasonable.

Okok, that's not the point!

What i want to say is i finally bought my Geek Specs! Hahaha!!

Image hosting by Photobucket

It's suppose to look Funky.

I've been trying to look this specs since it has been in fashion but i just couldnt find a cheap one! I just wanted to buy and wear for fun what, buy so expensive one for what.

Initially i thought this kind of specs at most cost like $20 since it's merely plastic <-- a type of polymer.

But i was wrong, cause at all the spectacle shops i've been to, it is unreasonably priced at $98 (and above) WITHOUT DEGREES! Waaaddeheow!!

It's only plastic! SELL SO EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT!

So being the cheapo, i never got the specs. Until today when i went to Bugis Street, i saw it for only $8! And it doesnt look any different from those i saw earlier. Go bugis street!

So talking about the Geeky specs...

Say hi to Mr Geek.

Image hosting by Photobucket

Hahaha!! Does it look Geeky enough? I think it suits the overall mugger image i'm trying to achieve. But thing is, this pair of specs has no degrees so i cant really see.

Image hosting by Photobucket

siao gin nah.

Anyway, i let Pepsi try on the geek specs and i think he looks really good.

Image hosting by Photobucket

OK! Time is running out and i must plant myself in front of the TV soon together with a can of pringles.

And go get yourself a pair of Geek Specs and you can Hi Five with me when we meet.

"Hey! You look super geekish."

"You too!"

"yeah man, high five!"

Opening ceremony!

After one year of warming up, the school is finally holding it's official Opening Ceremony.

It's quite a grand affair, considering they spent 10 000 dollars on the big tent at the parade square and Prime Minister being out guest-of-honour alongside with his entire troop of PAP friends.

PM Lee is really tall, almost on par with Mr Hodge!

Anyway, i was made to come to school at 830am today and the thing only started at 10am! WAA LAO! And they didnt even take attendance cause everyone was scattered everywhere.. but i managed to kill some time playing Pass The Song with milo cai xin and glen. It's a veh fun game especially when Milo kept distorting the song halfway into some ET song.

It starts with me singing a portion of a song, excluding the lyrics to milo then milo will pass the song to cai xin the cai xin to glen and glen will guess the song. It's very funny cause the songs either get cut short terribly or it gets distorted into a totally different song, like how Ji Mo Bian Jie became Incredibles.

So finally 10am arrived, so did Prime Minister Lee.

Image hosting by Photobucket
that's the best i got.

Wasnt a very grand entrance, maybe it's cause i was watching from LT 1 from a very louyapok cameraman. PM appeared out of nowhere and you know what, i think the cameraman is psychotic.

HE KEPT FILMING PEOPLE'S BUTT.

If that's no enough, there's one point when the screen shaked so badly i thought there was Tsunami...

The usual speeches and then there was a special song composed by dont know who and i must say it sounds weird.

Part 1 ended in half an hours which was very fast in my opinion.

Following which was rather disappointing.

Toooo crowded.

Ineffective use of space.

They invited people from all 3 raffles school plus parents, which is a lot of people! And only one block level space was utilised!

HOW TO WALK?! I could hardly even walk through the large masses of people. And Haunted House was having a super long queue we couldnt play...

Image hosting by Photobucket

Why they dont open up the Hall and specs gallery area for stalls too? I think it'll be more comfortable and maybe set up games stall too! School admin are u listening?

PLUS THE FOOD IS DAMN EXPENSIVE!

I was very hungry after the talk so i took out my wallet, got my money ready and wanted to eat like a siao gin nah. But to my utmost disappointment the food was so expensive, my modest wallet cannot afford.

I mean, WHO SELLS 2 HOTDOGS FOR $3?!

And the OREO MILKSHAKE I BOUGHT COSTS $2.50! And it actually looks like Fear Factor drink where they blend in the caterpilla millipede... I ACTUALLY BOUGHT IT. They actually didnt blend properly and the ice are all still in cubes.

Oh man, whenever i equate the prices to how many chicken rice i can buy with it, i dont feel like buying it anymore.

The food doesnt look appetizing to begin with.

Why must they sell so expensive, why! I know it's for charity but the prices are extremely marked up. Everyone's suppose to have fun right but i didnt. I had to squeeze and manoeuvre through the crowd and i cannot even find decent worthy food!

As a result, i had to be thick skinned and go to the reception for food. HAHAH!!

But when i got there i saw louis already eating a whole plate of food. HHAHAHA!!

The food looks soggy so i just got a few finger food to suppress my hunger then we went out to J8 for lunch.

So opening ceremony, in my opinion, was disatisfactory.

Her manager says

Since Aunty May loves to show her armpits so much, her manager has decided to call her Armpit May.

I just realised something about my blog. I realised that if you are totally unrelated to me, you wont understand most of my entries and find them silly. Am i right? Ok, maybe i should stop making up stories (although they're really funny) and blog about more real things.

But these days i have not many events to blog about anyway cause i'm trapped in school life again. Oh there's ORA tomorrow! I'm actually looking forward to the Opening Ceremony albeit only being able to watch LIVE TELECAST in LT1!

Let's see, i'm going for haunted house, funfair and maybe peep into the bone marrow test room...and take pictures.. Ok, should be fun.

The weather recently has been very weird. It's super duper hot in the afternoon and then it starts pouring in the evening, resulting in very humid weather.

I'm migrating to australia this semester.

As a result of the weather, the mosquito population is thriving and i'm suffering from a lot of mosquito bites.

It sucks ok.

Imagine a mosquito waking you wake in the middle of the night.

I can literally hear the mosquito buzzing at my ears! Serious. And the mosquitos bite the weirdest positions, like my ear which contains no blood but bone juice, soles of my feet which is very thick and i dont know how they can penetrate?!

They wont even let my face off.

4/05/2006

wake up wake up!!

There's something wrong with the poll box, sometimes i dont see the poll at all and sometimes it doesnt allow people to vote! And the votes are not coming in! Arh!

Nevermind. You get the point.

Finally, we've gotten back all our papers after waiting for so long! Everytime i hear things about the results from other people and i get quite worried. Things like, half the cohort fail and erm, average mark for compo is 24 blah blah.. Anyway i really did veh badly for this CTsss!!!!

WAKE UP ARH WAKE UP!

And this can probably be attributed to the fact i'm always either late for tutorials or totally didnt do at all and also spacing out during lectures. I did that last year and manage to get away with it BUT NOW ARH IS SIBEI CANNOT MAKE IT. Everyone around me catching up and i'm still stagnant, even dropped a few places down.

This means i need to buck up. I think seeing my progress report this term will shock myself.

By the way, after listing my undone tutorials since last month, i have about 16. HAHAHAHHAH!!! 16 UNDONE TUTORIALS CAN U BELIEVE IT! Ok, it's not suppose to be funny.

Serious. -_- <---- serious look

Anyway, you know in JC there's no formal system to determine your overall results and it's very hard to comare with your friends right...

it's like AABB and AAAC, which is better? You know, something like that?

And everyone's so competitive, we must compete and competition brings improvement.

SO HOW?

I've come up with a new system. It's called The L1R4.

It's the latest thing in school and if you dont know how to calculate, you're as loser as someone who wears high black poka dots socks.

It's actually similar to our very familiar L1R5 system and it's much easier cause we dont have A1 A2 B3 now...everything's simplified to ABCD.

L1 : General Paper
R1-4: A-level subject.

A-1 pt
B-2 pts
C-3 pts
D-4 pts
E-5 pts
O-6 pts
F-7 pts

So let's say you got B3 for GP, A for chem, B for physics, C for bio and D for Math.

Then yourL1R4 will be, 3 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 4= 13

...easy?

So start calculating your L1R4 now! I calculated mine and it's horrendous. I mean, it's so bad i cant even enter Poly.

HAHAHA!!

If you manage to get below 10, you've done very well! Stop working and give others a chance.

But if you scored above 20, then better work hard! Do 3 tutorials in advance for every subject and you'll do fine the next CT :)

4/03/2006

there's this department in school

That sucks.

Like today, when i need to ask a question in our commontest, i get referred thrice to different teachers and when finally i managed to make my way to the staff room, the teacher is absent. I mean, what's up with this department of teachers?!

So what if you didnt mark that question? SO WHAT? Why cant just answer the question? I think Lazy is the word to describe them. With a simple " you have to ask the setter" or " i dont know" they evade their basic responsibility to clear a student's doubt.

As i result, all i got for my question from my very own tutor was,

"What i can say is, you might have the correct answer, but the method can still be wrong"

Waddeheow! This my 70 yr old grandmother can answer that.

I'm not even mentioning about how lacking their notes are and they actually have the audacity to include their names in every single page.

This department in school need serious revamp.

Ok, let's see if great minds think alike...

a secret birthday party...

While everyone's asleep already, i'm still blogging! In the middle of the night. Everything's really quiet this night, i dont know why. Even the roads are extremely quiet when i was returning home, strange... i think singapore has gone into a curfew.

Anyway, i'm blogging at such an ungodly hour cause i know if i dont blog now, i wont ever blog. And after an hour of quick photoediting, i'm finally ready to photoblog! Come to think of it, it's been quite some time since i blogged a photoentry.

So today, 2nd of April, we had a secret birthday party! To celebrate Hongsheng and youmin's birthday! Happy birthday to you two again.

It's suppose to be secret, but since i'm already blogging, it's not really a secret. Arh, you wont understand, nevermind, let's move on.

For Aunty May, i made her a complimentary Aunty May Postcard. (refer to previous entry) You think i'm kidding?! I carried the postcard all the way from clementi to orchard through, braving through hundreds of commuters on the way who kept giving queer looks when they saw my postcard.

Image hosting by Photobucket

May was definitely pleased to see her very own merchandize being presented to her by none other than her manger, me.

And while i was on the way there on the train, i suddenly received a super funny phone call.

"BENJ YOU MUST FASTER COME! "

"LOUIS SPENT $150 TO REBOND HIS HAIR"

"OKOK! I AM REACHING IN 3 STOPS!"

For the first time i had something to look forward to in a train ride. And until now i still couldnt believe the fact that louis, went to REBOND HIS HAIR!

It all started out as a joke cause jared kept jokingly asked him to RELAX his curly wurly hair. All the while louis kept pushing the idea aside, giving excuses like it's very expensive..blah blah. But we all know he secretly check out prices, Singapore and HongKong, no less.

So finally, in attempt to fulfil his makeover dream. He did the first step, HAIR REBOND.

You want to see how is it? Ok, since i'm in a good mood, i decide to give you a snapshot of our very own rebond participant, louis chong.

Image hosting by Photobucket

The font was specially chosen for him to suit his overall, Tako Paochi Ambassodor image. I mean, dont you think he looks like the octopus in tako paochi?

Image hosting by Photobucket

Paying for dinner,

Leeying collecting money from louis.
Image hosting by Photobucket

After paying for our really expensive dinner, we went in to seoul garden. Personally i dont really like seoul garden cause it's expensive and troublesome. You have to cook the food yourself and go out smelling like smoke. Plus you never know when the oil shoots out.

While waiting for the food...

Wanted to take May, in her sexy robe but all her did was to show her armpits.

After dinner,
